Crenetermes

One of a group of closely related genera which are usually inhabitants of Cubitermes mounds. Crenetermes inhabits old Cubitermes mounds, building characteristic round structures on to the original construction. These are made of soil and lozenge-like raised areas all over their surface.

Otherwise Crenetermes is a typical Cubitermes-group Group IV feeder found commonly in soil pits.
