Tuberculitermes

Of uncertain taxonomic position, as contains a mixture of characters from the Cubitermes and Termes groups. Found in the mounds of Cubitermes and Trinerviternes in rain forests and savannahs. Some species have been recorded to be exceptionally drought tolerant (Roy Noel 1972).

Group IV feeder - may be a soil mound feeder (Eggleton & Bignell 1998).
